This product can be used for the indirect heating or cooling of paste-like, granular, powdery, and slurry-like materials. It can perform various unit operations such as drying, cooling, heating, sterilization, reaction, and low-temperature combustion. The special wedge-shaped mixing blades in the device have high heat transfer efficiency and can self-clean the heat transfer surface.

working principle

The hollow shaft is densely equipped with wedge-shaped blades. The heat medium flows through these blades along the hollow shaft. The heat transfer area per unit volume is very large; the temperature of the heat medium can range from -40°C to 320°C. The heat medium can be steam, hot water, thermal oil, or other liquids. It operates through indirect conduction, without any air carrying away the heat. All the heat is used to heat the material, with only a small amount of heat being lost through the insulation layer of the device to the surrounding environment. The wedge-shaped blades have a self-cleaning function: the relative movement between the material particles and the wedge-shaped surface creates a cleaning effect, ensuring that the heat transfer surface remains clean throughout operation. The housing has an Ω-shaped structure, and typically contains two to four hollow stirring shafts. The housing is equipped with sealed end caps and a top cover to prevent the release of material dust.
